Sensei Jack – Martial arts instructor – Brand identity

Martial arts instrcutor Jack Procter needed a simple idea for his brand and apart from being an all round nice guy is also a highly skilled ‘3rd Dan Black Belt in Shokotan Karate and traditional Akido’!! Highly skilled indeed, so we came up with the idea that featured the black belt as an illustrated graphic device, working down the side of the business card. Works well I think and gives a good idea of the traditional clothing he and his pupils tend to wear. Typography was suitably sympathetic to a martial arts theme.
