Kraft Foods – Dairylea ‘Back to School’ – Interactive Unit & Chiller POS.
More moo’tastic madness for Kraft Dairylea.
Using a bit of tech this time for an ‘interactive POS unit’, featuring a push button activated ‘Cow-Call’ and juggling balls that lit up for a bit of ‘bovine’ fun! All too push further sales of Dairylea as an after school snack, come school autumn term time. Marker visual’s for the design, and illustration artworks in CS illustrator and Photoshop. (These units did seem to have an effect on sales, well sort of! I saw one being mobbed by a couple of OAP’s with Grandkids in my local supermarket and after some sniggering they then attempted to tear it off the display it was mounted on for the nippers)! Design work for Studio Six Communications, Clifton, Bristol.
Above: Bus stop pos unit was a rather dull bit of design, until after much munching of the product, late in the evening,…eureka!! The thought of a ‘juggling cow with lights’, like you do at midnight, that will work!? Usually at this point you reject these off the fence ideas as just mad, in this case the client noticed the idea on the scamp sheet and the rest is history!

Above: Like we couldn’t get enough of the above daftness, we took it a stage further applying the branding onto a vinyl wrapped fridge unit, using the same sound widget as above.
