Marker visualising – Kraft Foods – Ribena concepts.
If you need concept’s visualising, then marker scamps and visuals are one way to go.
I still think it’s important as a designer to be able to draw or visualise both traditionally as well as digitally in whatever the latest software is. You can communicate your ideas quickly and concisely with a sketch before getting too involved digitally. But it does get to excite and include the client in the process of origination and the the creative process of your ideas. Scamps in rough form are more helpful as opposed to a weak finished digital visual of your concepts. Ideas matter, get it right at this stage and the client always feels a lot more involved.
Ribena Purple Planet, Energy Zone & Berry Island POS. (Above).
A fun brief for Ribena, to create a ‘Zoned’ Ribena area in store. Using a retro sci-fi look for the POS concepts. Influenced somewhat by watching reruns of Gerry Anderson show’s, and classic sci-fi film’s such as The Forbidden Planet. Plus drinking too much of the product no doubt! As you can guess though, it ended up as blue sky idea’s only due to budgets.
